Pragati Sinha (Prags) based in Fremont, CA, was raised in a small town named Bokaro Steel City in India. After her bachelor's in Science, she went on to study fashion in India and then continued at FIT, New york.
She is working full time as a Paraeducator in Mission San Jose Elementary School (FUSD), where she enjoys working with kids with special needs. She has her home based daycare, where she motivates kids to learn and grow in a fun environment. She has continued teaching art and sewing to her daycare and private kids both for more than 15yrs. Her students have been winning in various contests like Reflection, Habitat means Home, etc. every year.
She is a motivated fashion designer and an accomplished artist. Her creativity and designs are always evolving. She is an apt learner and thrives in accepting new challenges everyday. She is a versatile apparel designer who has experience in all aspects of clothing and design-women, men, kids - dresses, casuals, sportswear, and activewear.
She has worked for various clothing brands in India and New York, USA. Her skills in fashion include illustration, flat sketching, sewing, draping, patternmaking, measuring, tailoring, trend research, mood boards, adobe photoshop, illustrator and freehand.
Most of her artworks display a prominent influence of rich Indian culture. Figurative being her favorite subject, she loves to portray romance and beauty around. She also has successfully painted different subjects like landscapes, flora, fauna and different styles such as Madhubani, Worli, Coffee painting, 3D painting and many more. Fond of oil as a media, she also loves to use different media like W/C, Acrylics, Pen & ink, Chalk Pastels, Oil Pastels etc. She has created beautiful artifacts with junk CD’s, sticks, rocks, wooden boxes, frames, etc.
Her art shows (India, Indiana, and New Jersey) have been appreciated by art lovers all over the places. Her main goal is to perform creative work which will allow limitless opportunities to contribute, learn, grow and advance professionally.
